- The Association provides marketing opportunities and promotional material helping members to sell their products and services which includes a web site presence.
- Membership of the BDFA keeps members informed with a quarterly magazine, newsletter and members only section of the BDFA web site.
- BDFA members have access to courses that improve their deer management skills which include stock selection, transport and handling.
- Maintaining and improving the good health of deer reared in enclosed land is a priority for the association as well as involvement in government research such as that carried out by the deer unit at ADAS Rosemaund.
- BDFA Council members covering all areas of the UK provide an advisory service to members.
- Farm and park open days, stands at country shows, annual conference and other events all contribute to a vibrant organization which all those who rear deer should join.
